I just caught a Christmas song by you on cable music here in Palm Harbor Florida.
I have always been a big fan of yours and it was so nice to hear your fabulous voice again. You really are something special. In Florida anytime soon? Ik heb dat gelukkig nog op een bandje staan. het was van Deborah Holland en de titel van het liedje was; "I'm Sorry Baby I Want You In My Live" Vreemd genoeg vind ik daar niets over terug op je site. Volgens de presentator van het programma toen, zou Stewart Copeland in dat nummer op Bass spelen. As I said in the guestbook post that got inexplicably deleted, this music radio website has been a revelation for me. I have been led to buy music from artists I would never have heard from had it not been for Pandora. Kristin Hersh, Noe Venable, Larry Carlton, Terence Blanchard, and Connie Dover are just some of the more "out of the mainstream" artists I have been turned on too. I also added my support of your music to Pandora, suggesting all of your solo albums. I'd love to hear a random spin of "I Am a Union Woman" from The Panic is On. Thank you very much for putting You Do This To Me on the site as an MP3. I have been searching for 15 years for a soundtrack album from Circuitry Man to buy that track. I would also love to see your work on iTunes Music Store. This is where I buy most of my music these days. -Jim Ms. Holland, I have stumbled across your work by near-accident, having found the first Animal Logic CD in January of this year in the used section of a local record store. I bought it on the strength of Steward Copeland's and Stanley Clarke's reputation, being a serious admirer of both these gentlemen for their work with The Police and Al Di Meola, respectively. Two weeks later I found and bought the second Animal Logic album. Over the past 20 years I have found depth and resonance in many musical styles, from pop, rock, and metal to jazz, classical, and bluegrass -- but one thing that has always been missing from my large CD collection is the work of female singer/songwriters. The female voice for some reason never really reached me in the gut as male singers' have, though there of course many women with fearsome technical ability and the ability to emote impressively. I have no clue why this is. Maybe it's a sign of a much-belated maturity, but you are the first performer to break through that wall for me. Again, I don't know why. I'm pretty sure a music-theoretic analysis will uncover no answers for me. I find your work and your performances on the Animal Logic CDs to be professionally crafted while still retaining a rawness of emotion and a lyrical depth that holds its own with anything else I have heard. My current favorite is "I Won't Be Sleeping Anymore", but I'm sure my preferences will shift as I learn to appreciate your work more over time. I had feared that the industry had left you behind after Animal Logic dissolved, so it would be an understatement to say that I was delighted when I found the Wikipedia article about and its link to your website. I'm very happy to see you have more work available and I look forward to purchasing it. Hopefully you'll get royalties from these sales as you didn't from the used, out-of-print Animal Logic CDs!
